Relates those certificate holders applying for approval to conduct Extended Operations (ETOPS) under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 121, Section 121.161, as well as those certificate holders applying for approval to conduct flights where a portion of which traverse either the North or South Polar Areas, as defined in part 121, Section 121.7.
