Reflects current industry practices and standardizes the application process and training programs associated with ground deicing/anti-icing. Provides an industry-wide standard means for obtaining approval of a Ground Deicing/Anti-Icing Program in accordance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 121, section 121.629. Also provides a means acceptable to the Administrator for a certificate holder to deice/anti-ice aircraft using another certificate holder's personnel and procedures or contract personnel who have been trained by the other certificate holder.
