Specifies application information for distribution equipment switches that are: a) Rated at not more than 600 V and 6000 A with or without a horse-power rating; b) With or without provision for fuses; c) With current-carrying parts and mechanisms enclosed in metallic or non-metallic cases, or that are enclosed when mounted in an enclosed switchboard, panelboard; or the like d) Manually operable by means of external handles.
