Describes Physical layer characteristics for transporting of ATM cells at nominal bit rates of 155 520 and 522 080 kbit/s over coaxial cable and optical fibers at the T[B] and S[B] reference points of the B-ISDN User-Network Interface (UNI). The maximum distance is approximately 2 km for optical fiber and 200 m for coaxial cable.
