Abstract

Gives an overview of the functions, procedures and entities for management of the Signalling System No. 7 (SS No.7) network. Intended to provide a Telecommunication Management Network interface to the network operator; to interwork with other TMN parts in order to provide a unified approach for management of the whole telecommunications network; to extend where necessary the internal management functions of SS No. 7, in order to amalgamate them with TMN.
