Abstract

Specifies functional components, based on Recommendation ITU-T G.805, that allow the Multi-Protocol Label Switching Transport Profile (MPLS-TP) to be modelled in a way that is consistent with the description of other transport technologies defined by the ITU-T, (e.g., the synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) and the optical transport network (OTN)), to simplify integration with other transport technologies.
