It represents a recommended framework suitable for the effective implementation of single- and multi-use containers. The goal of this standard is to educate the users of packaging to the fact that there are tools available today that will ensure performance. The goal also is to promote the concepts of reduce, reuse, recycle in those applications where investigation shows that it is the most cost-effective choice.
