Details Star wired architecture and aircraft infrastructure for the proper use and interface of different cabin related IFE equipment. Working with this document allows each respective system to operate in concert when integrated with other relevant cabin type equipment. Details standards for the aircraft IFE Cabin Distribution System (CDS) wiring, connectors, power, identification codes, space envelopes and mounting principles. In it self the equipment is not a subject of this specification because it may be unique to the system manufacturer and / or market place. Design guidelines are inclusive for information purposes as these guidelines impact on the interfaces and installation of cabin equipment aboard the aircraft. A generic configuration of cabin subsystems interconnection is in parts 1&2
