Abstract

Consolidates and defines the various interface parameters, except for power, that may be required to support the operation of an In-Flight Entertainment System (IFES) on any airplane model. Also establishes a standard signaling protocol between the IFES and the airplane Passenger Service System (PSS) to manage and control the operation of the passengers reading and call lights.
