1ChronologyandBibliography Abstract
This document wants to provide standards in accordance with which aircraft makers and operators can design installations for an avionics refrigeration cooling system and can order avionics refrigeration units. Gives suppliers the basic requirements to manufacture off-the-shelf equipment. This document establishes the installation interface of an avionics refrigeration cooling system (ARCS) to be used on any aircraft that has been configured with the relevant system provisions, ARCS performance capability and design requirements, the definition of an interchangeable ARCS that would give cooling capability to aircraft interfaces and a system useable for either closed or open loop cooling.
